Commercial leases: digitalisation, changing practices and green value. Practical and forward-looking perspectives on adaptation and agility; proceedings of the conference organised by the Lyon Bar and its Commercial Leases Committee on 13 November 2025

On Thursday 13 November 2025, Anne BOLLAND-BLANCHARD, Anne TAILLEFER and Charles SOLARI spoke at a conference organised by the Lyon Bar and its Commercial Leases Committee on digitalisation, changing practices and green value in commercial leases, held at the Caisse d’Épargne amphitheatre in the InCity Tower, Part-Dieu. The conference brought together practitioners and experts to discuss the following topics:

  • Can a lease be legally automated as a smart contract? By Anne BOLLAND-BLANCHARD, Cyrille BERTHET, Jérémy ASTA-VOLA, Charles SOLARI and Victoire BEHAGHEL;
  • Changing forms of retail: how should commercial occupation be rethought? By Jeanne COURQUIN, Léa ROQUETTE, Séphora AMSELLEM, Emmanuel LE ROCH and Florent DECHELETTE;
  • What new approaches can help realise a building’s green value? By Anne TAILLEFER, Damien GLABAY, Julien MAIREY-ROHR and Rodolphe AUBOYER-TREUILLE.

The conference proceedings were published under the direction of Alban POUSSET-BOUGERE, President of the Lyon Bar, and Anne BOLLAND-BLANCHARD, lawyer and partner at FBL Avocats, with contributions from, among others, Charles SOLARI and Anne TAILLEFER, lawyers at FBL Avocats, in the October 2026 issue of Loyers et copropriété. The full publication is available in French on the publisher’s website, LexisNexis.
